Privacy and Data Protection Agreement

This document provides an overview about what happens with your data when visiting our web sites. We process your personal data, that are collected when visiting our sites, according to the legal requirements, specifically according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG new 2018, Germany). We generally process your data according to the principles of data minimization, appropriation and necessity. Personal data are all data that can be used to identify you as a person.

Your Rights

You have the right to ask at any time for disclosure about your data that we process. Further you can claim your rights to correct, delete and limit the processing of your data or revoke your agreement. This right also extends to data portability.

You can revoke an explicit agreement that allows us to process your personal data at any time. Please contact us at datenschutz@flyingcircus.ioin any case.

Data collection and usage

Basis for the processing is Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. b GDPR, which allows the processing of personal data to perform a contractual obligation or pre-contractual arrangements. We do not transmit your personal data to any third party, except when required by law.

Server Log Files

By visiting our websites your browser will automatically transmit information to us. This information will be temporarily stored in a log file. The following data will be stored:

• IP address of the source computer (anonymized to 24 bit netmask in IPv4 and 48 bit netmask in IPv6)
• Date and time of the access
• accessed URL
• Website visited before the access (Referrer-URL)
• used access client and potentially the operating system of your computer

Using our self service portal we also collect the following data:

• any data modifying activity including a timestamp
• your username
• state of any objects before and after modification<

Usage of Cookies and Local Storage

We generally only use session cookies and do not use any data to track you.

When logging into our self service portal we will store authentication (session) cookies. We also permanently store information in your browser's local storage to optimize your user experience (again: without tracking you).

We implement all required technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against loss and abuse. All members of our staff have signed a confidentiality agreement according to §53 BDSG (new).
